"Outer Sky started off as a landscape painting in abstract format. As it developed I became more fraustrated with the constraints of reality and this is reflected in the end work. The painting is a strong and warm space that I often enjoy day dreaming into."
The artist techique was to use the brush to layer the paint but finishing with a smooth finish. The lines of the brush vary depending on the lighting. The colours within the painting change with light; elements of green and purple can be observed in the lower part of the painting in brighter light.
