"During a stay in hospital where I was confined to my room I missed the outside, my window looked onto a brick wall. When I left hospital this was my first painting, it has great depth and space."

The artist technique was to use the brush and the paint in such a way to create depths with one colour. The painting is smooth with an almost matt finish.
